My name is Sara Hargarther and I would like to welcome you to Backwoods K-9 Boarding and Daycare (est. May 2022), Here we are not your "typical" kennel. At Backwoods we offer our dog sitting services right out of the comfort of my home. We have over 100! 5 star reviews so come check us out!!

A little about me. I was born and raised right here in my small town Sodus Ny! I am married to my wonderful husband Brian who helps out so much! We just recently welcomed our first kid Sophia into our family December 17th. She came to us early only at 25 weeks weighing 1lb 2oz.

The husband and I both were raised with family dogs so we understand how important our pups are to us!   Right now we have 3 dogs of of our own, a  Yellow Lab (Daisy) and husky mix (Toby) and Basset Hound (Gracie).  Here at Backwoods we have a fully secured fenced in area for your dog to run around freely. All dogs are allowed on the couch or bed.We also provide crates if needed! We provide Apple Air tags for the time of stay for extra safety. We ask that all dogs are updated with shots and be on any flea and tick medicine. We always ask to set up a meet and greet just to see if we are the best fit for your dog!! So don't forget to message us for any upcoming trips or daycare!

Max Capacity is 5 dogs that is including daycare and boarding.
